This is my third self-directed project. This is a series of food photography within a theme of "Individualism vs Collectivism". As well as human, food is also a natural material. Therefore, I likened food to people in society. There are countries where value collectivism than individualism, and oppose to them, some find indivualism are lots important. I am in between collectivism and individualism since I am Japanese, but I go to college outside of Japan, where values individualism. I find both concepts have good and bad aspects, so I wanted to make people to think back again about those concepts.
